Default EMERGENCY: Oil pan ruptured

So I just moved back to Detroit for school, and not 10 minutes after getting to the city I hit a massive pot Hole, I made it to my parking structure, but 5 feet from my space my engine shut off. My oil light came on and apparently I'd been leaking all over Detroit. 90% sure it's the pan. What is replacing it going to entail? Do I have to pull the engine? Car starts and runs fine when oil is added, buy it leaks out fast. If I have to take it to a shop any idea what it will cost?

Dymaxxion,

You haven't said what type of engine you have.

Brendan, it's Collins here. I should have known you were on the forums too. Sorry to hear about your pan woes, hopefully it's a quick solution.

When I was down there changing the oil it didn't look too complicated, but I have obviously never done it myself. I'm sure someone will be able to lend you some insight. It's a pity you aren't closer or I would be happy to help out.

Got the belly pan and spoiler off to get a better look. It now appears that the leak is above the pan, to the front drivers side of the engine. When the car is off and I pour oil in it just rapidly drips out. I can't get my head any further under and my jack seems to have given out. Any idea what I could be dealing with? Thanks.
