What type of power steering fluid?

Default What type of power steering fluid?
Dexron 3 is in the owners manual but this has been discontinued and a newer version is out called Dexron VI , apparently this is only suitable for automatic cars and is not suitable for power steering fluid.

Can anyone verify this or have tried it ? Or would ye recommend Castro power steering fluid or something similar?

I used the specified transmission fluid (idemitsu k17) with no problem.

There is plenty Dex III out there still. Check a Valvoline one readily avail at Walmart
