Default Wheel Badge Fading?

I have the green wheel badges on my 18" Proteus wheels. The green has really started to fade on them. The wheels are about three years old.

I asked my detail guy, and he swears he is not using harsh chemical cleaners on the wheels. The car has always been hand washed. Never been to a car wash.

Has anyone else experienced this fading?

Thanks...

Kevin, my wheels are doing the same thing. I am about ready to pick up a set of the leaper wheel badges from an XJ8. I like these better as they have a raised leaper face on them with the colored background. Looks a little better than our sticker covers.

One of the first things I did when I bought my used X Type was replaced the wheel badges. Like $20 on ebay.

I had the green/chrome center caps fade on the 18" arubas, thought it might be the salt used here in the winter time. I been contemplating these / maybe someone here has a better deal..

The originals and or different styles / colours are available either to replace or change / upgrade.

If your car looks great but these don't its time for a change......spend a few bucks and get them replaced, you know you'll be glad you did

I am looking to get something more like this:
JAGUAR WHEEL BADGE CENTER CAP HUB CAP SILVER ON GREEN | eBay

I think it would look interesting. To the best of my knowledge, all the new Jaguars use a 2-1/8" center cap. So, as long as you can find one in that size, should snap right in to the center of your wheel.

I replaced the ones on my Arubas a couple years ago with ones that have the red old skool "Jaguar" logo. Like the dash of red contrast on there. Have held up great over the last couple winters. Got the whole set for $50.

I switched mine for a set like the one's Thermo is showing. Get the real deal though as there are reproductions that don't hold up well at all.

When i got my Jag I didn't even have center capsSo I immediately went on ebay and found the 3D growler caps that matched my car chrome and silver I wasn't a big fan of the flat green growler center caps that were supposed to come on my car. Paid $40 bucks for the set, might have been a bit expensive.
