are the 2wd and 4wd front wheel bearings the same?

From what I can see in the parts listings, the front bearings are all the same.

The rears are different, of course, for All wheel drive vs. Front wheel drive. I don't find but the one number for the fronts, and the listings state "all" for the derivatives (where there are two distinct numbers on the rears for AWD vs FWD).

AlfaVeloce - I might steal your quote. LOL.

As for the bearings, don't use the generic ones from the auto store. The Jaguar front bearings have magnets in them for the ABS sensors.

Hi Jeeves, yes, and it's true about all the wrenching. I am almost done putting a new engine in her car. An epic endeavor, not for the faint of heart.

True too, you want to be sure any new hub has the tone ring for the ABS.
