Wheel speed sensor help please
Whas up guys. Been getting an intermittent ABS light coming on. Had the car scanned. Gotta C1235 code. Rear right wheel speed signal comparison fault. Is there a preferred wheel speed sensor to get ? What is the oem brand. I know many Denso parts are used on our cats. Just wanna know if there’s any difference. Thx.
Most of the time its not the sensor but the ring
These sensors are not fused, so if you ignore the signal it will blow the ABS unit
You can open the connector under the rear seats as a tempory solution.

Thx Red. Can you tell me more about this disconnect under the rear seat please. Also I noticed lately I’m getting a chirping sound from that same rear right wheel. The noise continues at slow speed. Follows the rotation of the wheel. Then stops at a slightly higher speed. Any info is greatly appreciated
Also, consider that the problem is in many cases either the wiring, an inline-connector, or the big blue connector connecting to the ABS module. I once swapped a single pin in that big connector to solve my intermittent ABS light issue.
I do not know, if disconnecting the connector to the rear sensor helps (I would not think so), but if you are looking for that connector: It is - as mentioned above - to be found under the rear seat.

Forgot to mention this. A few days ago driving home. The abs light did not come on for a while. With the light off. My speedometer was not accurate. Fluctuating. As soon as the abs light comes on. Speedo works perfectly normal as usual.
I no longer have the x-type ...
Check Google for ; Jaguar x-type change rear abs sensor
It can be any of the connections between rear and ABS unit (front left) as stated by Peter_of_Australia
