Hi Dudes, im new to forum and new to jags! i have a x type 2005 3.0 awd sport auto and want to fit 19" rims.I have found a nice set but offset is et35 if i put 215 35 19 tyres on these rims wil they still rub or cause problems? thinking of dropping 35mm too. Cheers in advance.

I don't know, but if you start scrolling there are plenty of posts concerning after market rims and suspension drops.

I have exactly that offset and tire size on my X-Type now. You won't rub.

Exexpat I'm glad you say that,I have been reading your posts on rims and your just the guy for the right answer! the wheels I'm interested in are 8.5 x 19 et 35 do you have any pics of what your rims look like fitted? How far out do they come from the arches? Is a 225 to wide? I take it the rub issue is on the arch and not on the inside, I don't want them to stick out but if they sit flush that would be good. ( I refurbish wheels for a living done a lot of jags but this is the first one I have bought) Welcome to The Wheel Genie - Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Centre

yep

You may need to roll your fenders for 225s by the way, but 215 should be fine. I have tons of room and can almost drive at the height in the pic - I drive about 40mm higher than that though daily.
