and it cycles off and on. While the cabin is still warm the ac seems to cycle off then comes on later. All the cars I've ever owned just stay on, unless Jag does something different. I have the pressure gauge, so I can check the ac if it is low on freon. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks

Ok, great, that's an easy fix. It uses the same as all other cars I imagine. I wonder if I should get one with stop leak or just a regular can of freon. A regular is probably fine and if there is a leak I can always do it later. It's 8 years old and works now, so it's prob not a big deal.

Thanks Brutal

p.s. do you know what the pressure should be? I'll do a search.

I read some one and another moderator mentioned a "blend door issue", and you also commented on that and said that should not cause the left and right to be different temps. I went ahead and did a test procedure to see if I can hear the recirculation open and close, but when I press the button with the ac blowing full I hear nothing so maybe I also have a blend door issue. It blows cold on the passenger side, so maybe it is stuck closed which is fine with me.

I'm having the same exact problem so I recharged freon and double checked, its at 40 psi, but no difference at all in the temp on the drivers side. Other side is cold.

I read another post here that said he checked everything and found flow from evaporator was only cold on one side, what could cause that?
