Default Where does this go? Found it putting in new battery cables

I was having problems with my car always needing a jump start. I would take it to Autozone or O'Reilly's, took it to both, and they said the battery was good. I had read where the cables were an issue not the battery. Changed the battery cables and my always needing a jump problem was fixed. Now I'm left with a mystery. When uninstalling the battery i noticed a cable that was bound with the positive lead of the battery to the fuse box. The cable actually runs under the fuse box on the front right side, if your looking into the hood of the car, back into a bundle of cables. The cable has a green and green/blue wire that go into a black two socket connector that is currently connected to nothing. The cable is just long enough to connect to something close to where the battery is. Where does this thing go

It was used during pre delivery shipping to protect the battery.
