Hey there 85.....dunno if you've had any non start / poor start issues lately?
I'm thinking of a possible alternator fault? Sumthin to check although one of the more tech minded guys here may be able to confirm as a possible and or offer other advice.....

Please keep us informed

Nope no issues starting whatsoever. This morning, first morning back in nc where it was 45* last night and not in the 20s, and sure as **** there was no issue with that resetting. Mind you ONLY the trip resets, not the mpg or miles left!

85, sounds like the dimmer module is starting to go on you. That or you have a wiring issue between the dimmer switch and the lights in question. If you want to troubleshoot it and get an idea of where the problem is, let me know and I will give you some step by step instructions of what you need to do.

Funny you mention that... Are you reffering to the little round knob on the left hand side? Because o notice sometimes I mess with that and it does flicker the dash and hvac lights

85, yes, that little knob. It is possible that as you get in and out of the car, you may hit that knob. That can destroy the internals and cause all sorts of heartaches. You should be able to turn it all the way clockwise and it will cause the lights to be powered directly off of the electrical system (bypasses the dimmer module). So, that will alteast give you lights at night (may be brighter than you want, but is having no lights that safe?).

If you need any more info, let me know.

You know, mine will "blink" every once in a great while. Just a really quick blink. I wonder if that dimmer knob just gets loose?

Yep mine blinks too. Thought I was imagining things on my trip till my wife confirmed she saw it too. But I don't brush it when it flickers randomly driving down the road. But if I flick it when unpopped YES it will do that flickering business as well
