I have a 2002 x-type...my power seats don't lower and raise, but the motors run....gears I suspect...I found a 2005 x-type seat frame for 50 bucks....will it transfer with same wiring harness? anybody have any idea on this? I grabbed the screw with a vice grip and move it will pushing the button and it does grab but then stops....

So I"m hoping the seat will fit my 02 from the 05...

 

It should, Jag never changed anything unless it was faulty. And as far as I know it should be good.. Let us know how you make out with that.
