Default Window Deflectors

I'm thinking about picking up some window deflectors/rain guards for my X-type. See here: Weathertech® Side Window Deflectors Jaguar x Type Sedan 2002 2008 Dark | eBay if you're not sure what I'm talking about.

I've had these on my last two vehicles and loved them - on my Mazda6 and my Jeep they decreased wind noise a bit. However on some vehicles they can cause more wind noise.

Does anyone have these on their X-Type? Got a picture? How is the wind noise?

Hi Jeep2Jag,
Yep, I have deflectors fitted to the front doors on my X-Type and made them a priority must have...... after getting drenched one day.
They are not so much of benefit for noise reduction (below 60 MPH) - but do stop any water that has pooled on the roof from pouring in a front open window, say at the first turn out of a carpark after car has been outdoors in the rain.
(not nice)

I have them on all my cars, and they work. Keeps the cat cooler...I leave the windows cracked in the sun. I have the dark smoke tint on a Pewter color, and it looks nice, as a factory option would look. There is no noticeable noise difference that I can find. As they are rather reasonable..get them, and if you don't like them, put them on Ebay. Get the ones that fit under the rubber on the window, not the glue on the outside. have a go at it
