Windshield Wiper Problem????????
I have a 2002 X-type 2.5L sport with a windshield wiper problem.
it will only engage at continuous or fast speed and works fine but when I turn it off it stops immediately instead of returning to the bottom position.
The intermittent does not work. and when I spray washer fluid it does not engage as well.
I don't think its the fuse but can anybody tell me where the fuse is so I could check it out? any other suggestions??
thanks guys!.

Everything defective is covered under warranty. If you mean extended warranty, should still be covered. Park problems happen. Unfortunately they didnt use a park relay this time and built it into the motor.
Aquill, I didnt get a call from you the other day. How did it go at the dealer?

What is the park problem exactly? Mine has done that where I hit the windshield washer button and fluid comes out but no wiping action! No big deal though I just mark it down as the usual jag quirk! No harm no foul!
FJT I made a post about it...about my experience...thanks again! I thought you wanted me to call you if I had problems? I would have called you irregardless, I just didn't think you'd want me bothering you. BTW how's the car going I haven't had time to search did you get some pics of the newly acquired ride posted?

a park problem......that sounds like that would be the problem not the fuse. to resolve this, i would need a new motor? how much would that cost? maybe i'll just deal with it since i don't have any extended warranty on my car.
