Windshield wiper problems

I was driving last night - first snowfall of the year and wipers were working fine. Then all of a sudden they stopped working, you can hear the wiper motor running but the wipers wont move. I have read about the R1 relay and the #24 #25 fuses.. would you think this is the problem or is it something more?

If you can hear the wiper motor running then it is not an electrical problem... no problem with relays. I'd check the mechanical side of things... the bits that actually make the wipers move.

read my thread ...(my x-type projects and installs) page 9.. i have a write up...but if your motor still works it could be the 13mm bolts came loose on the wiper transmision
