The X is having some major fubar issues with the Left Rear tail lights and the backup sensors in the rear bumper...

When you put the car in reverse, the sensors dont work, but the yellow indicator comes on for the rear fog lights.

Also, when step on the brakes the right side works fine but the drivers side makes the clear marker on the left side of left rear tail light come on but no red brake light.

Also, turn signal for left makes the same clear marker come on instead of the proper red turn indicator light.

Can anyone provide the location of the wire harness location on the vehicle for these systems?

Possible problem... Few months back we had a leaking coolant reservoir. Lots and lots of coolant was lost over many months. We just kept filling the reservior when it got low. I think this may have gotten coolant into a connector on the wiring and may be causing a short. i just dont know where the connectors are for these systems.

Local dealer wants $160 for first hour of diagnoses... then who knows after that. Plus they say they have never had a vehicle in for this problem.
