Just git an estimate from the body shop. $4500, but the insurance company still want to go check the car again. Hopefully they dont come up with some bullshit and try making me pay more.

 

I hope , they don't !

 

Called the bodyy shop today, and was told that someone from the insurance company had been to see the car. they sed that the wheels wud not be covered, as they look like they got damaged while the car was moving, and the accident happen when the car was stationary. Any ideas on what i can do about this?

Get the body shop to assume that the wheels can't be driven on...That's bs....just fight em...thats what they are hoping you don't do and you just go into your fetal position! I say screw all insurance companies...Sprints insurance company (assurion....) is yanking my chain and I'm not giving in...i've already called sprint to biiiiitch them out and they've refunded me 75 bucks...50 for my deductible to get a new phone from the insurance company and 25 for the sprint customer service lady being a retard! I'm still fighting the insurance company because they told me I was getting one phone 3 different times by 3 different people and than wait and never get the phone I was promised! I still haven't lost anything yet but if they keep lying to me I'm going to send the phone they sent me fresh out of the toilet and throw it in the package and tell them here is the phone you sent me it got wet!!![:@][sm=badbadbad.gif] Man I wish you could see the people face to face! And my phone is only a few hundred dollars not my pride and joy! I'm feeling for you man but keep in there...don't give up but just don't cheat them or yourself because it will end up biting you in the end!

 

Thanx for the advice guys, i takled to the insurance company for about 30mins on the phone and convinced them to cover the wheel too.

Yeah congrats 04, if they give you any problems just keep your cool and talk to them as long as it takes...they'll understand they know this is a game and were hoping you didn't call back but it still aint' hair off of their back...know what I mean? Its the whole 4 out of 5 didn't argue kind of thing!

They havent told me how long they are goin to take, but they sed they have ordered the parts, and are looking for some used replacement wheels. Im guessing it will take about two more weeks. They did offer me a rental, but it wud have been a crappy chevy cobalt. they only give $25 per day for the rental. I decided not to take the rental, as i can borrow my brothers car for now as hes on holiday.

 

Two weeks[&:]........man thats a longggg time without a decent set of wheels!
On the wheels..........."used replacements"???? ....man that sucks, better than nuthin I guess. Just hope that they find you some good ones, that is of course if you've agreed to that?
