Default X is for new X-haust

Just replaced my exhaust with stainless steel Borla system. Man, does she sound sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Notice a huge difference in acceleration and performance overall is fantastic!

Anyway, I have the two original mufflers with the stainless steel tip.......only 10K miles on them, anybody interested?? 100 bucks for both?

What did Borla claim the hp gain would be from the exhuast?

Was it a full cat-back or just cut right before the mufflers. I was thinking about getting an exhaust as well if I could just get mufflers and tips, since the rest is all metal tubing anyway.

I have a Borla XR1 racing exhuast with no mufflers (jus a resonator) on my Vette and absolutely love it.

These are the stainless steel life time left and right mufflers with the polished stainless tips.....absolutely fantastic! I bought it for the looks and sound......Borla claims 12hp to the wheels but I didn't really care about that.....

It has a deep rumble (not that Asian import sound bull ****) but a real deep muscle car sound that if you didn't know better you would swear it was a V-8!

Very nice and highly recommended!

Nice, I am going to look into getting something similar myself - my tips are looking pretty worn right now.

I was gonna get the Remus but decided to save a few bucks instead so that I may get my intake opened up and polished. That should give me an extra 15-20hp. My of goal of 300hp is on the horizon.....

I did the mesh thing too, upper and lower....be prepared for the lower, it was a bitch and lots of cutting. Looks great when done though...
I used stainless steel nuts and bolts for the lower grill instead of the crap that they give ya. i also customized a new bracket for better fit.

Good luck
