So to cut the story short I bought an X-type on an auction and it turned out that it has all injectors and fuel pump gone also it leaking oil really badly, and I have a chance of buying a 2.0d from an x type so me think it faster and cheaper to just swap the engines over as I know that the donor engine is running(still in the car).
My jag is a 2008 with 120k and the donor car is 2006.

so my question is

1. Is it just straight swap like on the V6(done loads of 3.0 and 2.5 Engine swaps)
2. Do I need to reprogram something after?
3. Do I need to swap any modules over?
4. can there be any other issues?
5. also i have seen some with vacuum egr and turbo actuator and mine is all electronic so best idea is to get exactly the same engine with all electronic bits?

I know also to change front ARM bushes while im at it
