Default X-Type alternator help

We have a 2004 X-Type with a 3.0 engine that needs the alternator replaced. I've seen a video of a guy pulling the alternator from below, after pulling the AC Compressor. One of the comments below the video suggested that he should have gone in from above to replace the alternator. Which is the better way to do this job?

Mike, I don't think it can be pulled out from the top. The best way that I have seen is the guy removed the bumper cover and then slid the radiator/condenser over some to get access. Otherwise, you are going to need to move the A/C compressor out of the way.
