X-Type: change OEM module of climate control to Navy

Hello.
I have Jaguar X-Type, 2003, 2,5 l. from USA. And usual climate controle with small LCD panel.
I have possibility to buy control with big colour LCD panel from Jaguar X-Type 2005.
Can I change it? Haw I can check compatibility? What I need else? DVD maybe?

If you are referring to navigation you would need wiring harnesses nav module, antenna etc. The cars are built for nav, not for retrofit. Sorry.

doable if you have a donor car with all the parts to rape and pillage. .. there are a lot of parts to swap. not a project for the timid...

I have replaced several body harnesses. Not fun. But as you say, doable.

Everybody, thank you for interest. I understand, it's so dificult and expensive. We don't have navigation signal in our region. I want to use LCD panel for watch DVD, but LCD in sun visor will be easy and comfortable.
