Default X-type Estate

Hey dudes, venturing into the X type thread for the first time in a long while.
Just wondering what you thought of the estate, sportswagon, of the X type, from say 2005. Me and the old man have been looking at some on ebay with pretty low mileage and for a few K under 20,000. Are these good cars or are they rubbish? I don't really know anybody who's been in one and I only sat in one once. A third jag would be a nice replacement for the buick rendezvous we have now tho

There are not many around North America, but I did take one for a spin a few years back. I still talking to my wife about giving up her Jeep Liberty for an '06 Estate. I think it would be a great edition for winter weekend get-a-ways.
