my supplier has never had this ussus but is looking for a adaptor base clip as well

does anyone have a bmw with h1 bulbs or a nissan altima or any other one they put hids in

i really dont want to pull that skid plate off again untill i have everything..also now i have to change more headlight bulbs..the drl's burnt out.

Mike, most people end up drilling out the back of the bulb base and then using some silicon, they "glue" the bulbs to the base. That is what I had to do when I did my conversion to HID fog lights. If you need more info, let me know.

That is what I was thinking about doing actually.
Now the H1 bulb, why is it like this for the jag? Will the H1 hid bulb need the same modification to the origional bulb base even on other cars?
I need to put them in fogs of the jag and altima headlights.
I tried to put in a 9006 and it almost fit the fog, I didn't try too hard though, I got it in but it wouldn't turn and lock.

MIke, I would think the same sort of modifications would be needed for both cars. The main problem (atleast with the kit I got) was that the bulb had the wires hard mounted to the bulb. So, there was no way to "plug" the bulb into the factory base and then plug the wiring into the base. I discovered atleast with my kit, using a 1/2" drill bit works perfectly. It was just large enough to fit the plug for the light through, yet small enough that there wasn't a large gap around the bulb for gluing it into place.
