Hello i am looking to purchase an o4 or o5 x type with a factory navigation system, its a little hard to find them with the factory navigation system. I was wondering if someone could tell me if if purchase an x type without the navigation system could i purchase a used navigation system on ebay and just plug it in, I am wondering if this would work. Could someone please help..

While it is technically possible, it would be very expensive and difficult to do. The likelihood of finding the materials (all of them) on ebay would be very slim.

I looked at cars.com. I entered a search for 2004-05 X-Type with navigation and found more than 60 of them. You might have to travel to get the one you want but heck....you'd have a fun drive home in the new Jaguar.
