HELP- 2002 X-Type that runs and drives but wile in drive at a stop (like any stop light) it wont move from there until about 2500-3000RPM what is wrong? The car is in the gear but densest catch till the RMPs. Possible Torque Converter?

 

first thing to check would be transmission fluid level.

 

First, like was mentioned, your fluid level may be a little low and/or your tranny fluid pump is starting to go and only once it gets the RPMs does it build up enough pressure to cause the tranny to shift. Check the level and then take things from there.
