Screw that soccer in general is boring til someone gets kicked, falls, tripped, scores or gets bloodied up somehow...I'm going to get flack for that but hey soccer is only fun to play...

 

I can understand your point, but I think it's like watching racing. The more you understand, the easier it is to watch. Basketball and football are score, score, score games. It doesn't matter if you mess up because you will have plenty more opportunities. With soccer and racing, you better make every chance count. They don't come along that often.

 

You have force in what you says ,ken . You can't actually know who is gonna win a race before you see the checkered flag . Endurance races are a different story as well. Those kinda races are brew lol

 

Ken has said it best. You need to UNDERSTAND the game to APPRECIATE it. If you don't know jack **** about racing, it becomes boring as well.

 

That said, Texans and Colts this weekend in Houston! Gonna find out how real the Texans are. I hope it's a good game. The line is Colts by 4.5.

No Andre Johnson and the spread is Colts by 4.5 ONLY???? WTF? Ken, I'll take it you're a Texans fan? Did you like the Oilers when they were there? I remember the year they left Houston they made it to the Super Bowl. Maybe the Texans should go to LA. God knows they need a Football team.

 

I don't think I could ever stand or understand the idea in driving around in a circle and being a huge fan...there isn't anything special about it....I love driving cars but I wouldn't want to watch nascar...I love playing and watching basketball, football, hockey, baseball and almost everything else...soccer is with nascar...but I'd rather watch some soccer than nascar...

 

I never used to be into football ( soccer ) at all....In fact I hated it.
I'm into it now big time, probably cos my son plays for Celtic FC. Pretty much though I'd rather watch him play than the big games.
Nascar..........seen it a few times and it's ok, but gets pretty boring after a while.

Nascar is one of those "you gotta know what you're watching" type of sports. Ken really did put it best. If I'm watching Nascar though, I'll be honest, I'm also flipping the channels to watch some football.

 

Yeah, nothing is fun just running around an oval "circuit" .Even a 12 V electric "circuit" should be more fun [8D]

 

Now when the cars have to turn or the indy's when they are flying around in cities that is way more fun to watch...some drifting I could watch all day long...crotch rocket racing is fun but after a while it is just like nascar and the others...it gets old after a while and I LOVE CROTCHROCKETS! But as you said bigs...I'd be watching football over it and would never watch nascar on commercials though!
