X-Type petrol 2006 model x400 Engine water spout removal
Hallo,
I'm new to the forum and just exited in meeting you all.
Currently I have a old Jaguar X-Type 2006 model in South Africa.
I recently needed to replace the C2S18895 - Water pipe, but were unable to find a new part - all just don't have any stock anymore.
I made some modifications, but afterwards another leak on the water engine inlet spout. I see there is two bolts to remove, but I have no idea how to even remove the one located under the water inlet spout with water thermometer on top.
Has anyone tried to remove this before or some guidance how to remove the water engine spout inlet?
I'm referring to the metal pipe on the 2L that comes out of the water pump under the intake manifold toward the inside of the block. Above that spout is another spout.
I'm struggling to get bottom spout off the block. I can see there is a 10mm bolt, but not sure how to get it loose. With another spout on top it's difficult getting a spanner or socket under neath.
