I gave been living with a remote that has been nearly dead for a while now. The lock and unlock buttons barely work, and it has been bugging me for a long time. I decided that I would order the remote part for the switchblade, but the only one I could find was the 1X43-15K601-AE. The problem is that my remote is a 1X43-15K601-AC. Will the AE work with the AC?

 

Absolutely, that is an example of part number progression. That's not an actual part number, it is what they call a WERS Number. The suffix, in this case AC, has progressed to AE in a succeeding version of the same part.
