Default X Type...Stiff clutch pedal...Any ideas?

Enquiring about 53 plated 2.0 v6 and seller suggests it has a stiff clutch pedal What would be the likely cause of this, and cost to rectify? Just wondered if it would be worth viewing/buying this vehicle If so,what price should I expect to pay? It has covered 107k with old MOTs,not much S/h,HPI clear, one dent to front wheel arch, and a few scuff marks. Your comments would be appreciated,thank-you.

Hydraulic clutch has two main parts, master cylinder (connected to clutch pedal) and slave cylinder (mounted on bell housing); there's a fluid pipe that connects the two. One or both cylinders could be the culprit. The clutch pedal bushing could also be worn to the point of causing binding. If it were me I'd take it to a reputable mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection.
