Got more details/pictures? If the tires are bigger than 225/45/17, that could be the problem, not the wheels. Factory wheels should have the proper offset.

Sounds like the right spec. My Aguila's are 7Jx17 52.5. Not sure what the problem would be unless you've had suspension changes. What did you have on before you put these on?

gdurawa, unfortunately, the specs on the wheels for the X-Types is that close. Where is it rubbing? I only ask as there might be an easy way to tie that portion of the wheel well liner out of the way (for example).

Granted, you are running the stock size tire for a 17" wheel. So, I would be looking to see if you have something that isn't tied out of the way. Odds are, that is where your problem is going to lie. If not, you are looking at a problem with the backspacing of the rim and while the rims may have been polled off of another Jag, were they having the same issues?

Those wheels should fit. What wheel is rubbing? Front? Back? Left? Right? Exactly where? How much clearance to the rub point with the original 16s installed?
