Hello Chaps, I've just dropped in from the XJ8 area to seek some advice from you guys

I have a 2001 XJ8 and am very happy with it. However my Dad is not happy with his current vehicle and he has expressed an interest in an X Type. What I would like is a little bit of a heads up on what to look out for on them.

He wants: A Diesel Estate X Type. It HAS to be a diesel and an estate petrol is out the question, so what do I need to know about the heavy oil version of the baby Jag?

He likes the X Type for many reasons, one of which is that it was built in our home town of Liverpool
