Xtype car repair

I had my 2002 X Type towed to a repair shopOct 15, 2007, the car just died while traveling 45 mph on a city street.
The mechanic told me "the fuel pump and the fuel modular went outâ€three months and several modules later, he is telling me Jaguar can't seem to get the right fuel pump and modular together to work on my car.... He says "my 2002 has a combination of parts put on at the factory from several jaguarmodels X type, XJ type, Ford,and or whatever"
Has anyone else had this problem, or am I getting the runaround?

Never heard that one before bzyshopper........new to me.
Thats not to say that its not accurate though.....please keep us informed as to your progress

Everything should be straightforward! Bo would know as he's fixed almost everything that could ever go wrong with the car! Sounds like he has no idea what he's doing and is blaming it on jag instead of saying I'm an idiot and can't handle working on a jag! j/k but he obviously must have no idea what he's doing to your car...
