Default Yet more fault codes

hello all again im start to get sick off this car now if some could help me please.

After changing the lambda/o2 sensor (bank1 sensor 2) wich wasnt an easy job

im still geting faults:

P0300--Random missfire

P0305--no5 Missfire

P0306--no6 Missfire

P1313--Missfire bank 1 catalyst damage

P1314--Missfire bank 2 catlyst damage

P0037-- Bank 1 sensor 2 Low circut

P1000-- ECM Internal Error

Now here come the intresting bit before i changed the sensor the last owner had cut the loom and added a sensor from another car bypassing the right one. Any one who has ever changed the o2 sensor in bank 1 will know why he did that.

Now because he cut the loom so close to the plug im finding it hard to get a good conection when joining the loom back with the right sensor installed on the car.

could all the above faults be linked to bad connestions causing shorting and surging. hence the ECM fault.

Thanks to all.

DTC P1000 is NOT an ECM Internal Error.

It is: OnBoard monitoring tests not completed since last memory clear

When the OnBoard tests are completed, it will be replaced with code P1111.

That's one major headache removed!

Your problems are likely to be caused by a poor connections to the bank 1 sensor. As the PO has been there before you, it could be an issue that was never properly resolved.

This list of codes are related.

P0300 : random misfire

This can be fuel injector or ignition related. Associated DTC's indicate which it is.

P0305 : misfire on cylinder 5
P0306 : misfire on cylinder 6

So you know it's ignition related and on cylinders 5 and 6

P1313 : misfire bank 1
P1314 : misfire bank 2

These are confirming what P0305 and P0306 are telling you.

P0037 : HO2 sensor heater control circuit low resistance bank 1 downstream

This is telling you there is either a short circuit to ground or the HO2 heater is duff.

Which leads back to my first sentence - if you have a new HO2 sensor fitted, the wiring harness is likely to be where the fault lies.
