Recent works on the car include:
- Full service (I assume but I need to ask about the history, etc).
- New Tyres.
- New Brake discs and pads.
- Replacement Windscreen - stone chip.
- Replaced Front bushes.
- New Sway bars and drop links.
- "Electrics overhauled"
- A/C Recharge
- DPF Clean (March 2024)
Any help or advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
MG3.
If it's a 2.0 Diesel Ingenium These engines are notorious from timing chain issues to fail which result to engine failures. At 130K miles find out if the timing chain has been replaced. The replacement parts are improved design by JLR to correct the issue. Other than that, I don't see anyting wrong with the engine. Do an OCI of every 5K miles so that the timing chain and turbo are always lubricated with fresh oil. Keep it well maintained and it will serve you well.
