Default AC seems to make warm air at times

When I have the car set at 72 and it is 71 or 72 outside the car mixes warm humid air into the AC. I have to keep the setting in the car at least 2-3 degrees below outside air temp, otherwise it blend warm humid air into the cabin which is not very nice. Anyone have this condition? I wonder if this can be adjusted?

Yes, that does happen with us. Essentially we have the car set at about 22.5 ceslsius. If the outside temp is 21 - 22 or so, you get overheated by the air cond. Then if you put the temp too low in the car, the side vent freezes your fingers on the wheel.

I havent found a fix, save to put the window down a bit or open the sunroof, each of which work a treat.

Have the same issue with my new XF-S. I found that if I shut the auto start-stop button to off (my stop-start does not function...lucky me!) that it does it less often. I suppose the computer is linked to the switch position rather than the actual start-stop functionality. Also if the fan is in high rather than low it also helps. I am of the opinion that the thermostat is fooled by cold air that does not eject forcefully from the ducts, and that may result in the system cycling too often.

We drove one trip and it was occurring too often on the freeway in heavy traffic. Second trip with the start-stop off it didn't seem to be so frequent.
