Default Add side skirts to Jaguar XE

Hi everybody!

I recently bought a second hand Jaguar XE but sadly it doesn't have side skirts.

I have seen them on other Jaguar XE's like this one:

Can these side skirts still be added? And where do I buy them?

Google shows lots of results... some look more legit than others. In another thread @chrisburns61 posted pictures of his white XE with side skirts (and front/back as well) ... you might see where he got his. I wouldn't mind knowing as well.

The R Sport side skirts with bright work would look good. Can you get OEM's off a wreck? You'll need to paint them either way.

Default Rocker mouldings

You can replace the OEM skirts with the skirts used from the aero package used on the S version. I purchased new skirts from oemvehicleparts.com

https://www.oemvehicleparts.com/sear...ocker+moulding

you will still need to have them painted to match and I also added a carbon fiber trim cover that attaches over the OEM skirt with 3M trim adhesive tape. I’d love to add the front number cover from the S aero package but I haven’t found any used ones less than $1500 from salvage shops and then it would still have to be repaired if needed and painted. There are just too many different assemblies to purchase new and paint.

Rocker panels look sharp. Good job.

I LIKE THE CARBON FIBER OVERLAYS!!! Are those from Mina? Would love to see some close up photos of how well they cover the original skirts. I ordered some carbon fiber overlays from Mina before for my X-type way back in 2006 or something like that...I was disappointed with the fit and never ordered from them again.

Everything needed is in the thread and the ones above. You can get the carbon fiber overlays from numerous sources. Ahacarbon is one place at ahacarbon.net, Paramount or you can find them from several places on eBay.
