Default Aftermarket wheels

I'm having difficulties finding wheels for my R Sport. I'd like to put 18" winter tires on the car (stock 20"). My local Jaguar dealer has an 18" option that will fit but I'm not happy with the look or cost. I can't find a reputable vendor (tirerack, etc) that has fitment options for my car. I'd like to put BBS SR or SX wheels on it but can't confirm they'll fit, BBS also can't confirm. Any suggestions other than order the wheels and hope for the best?

Which other model Jag has the same size wheel and offset?

Jag uses a rather obscure bolt pattern, 5x108 (Ferrari and volvo also use this pattern if I recall correctly) which means you likely won't find any place stocking bbs wheels in that size. As for if they fit, if BBS makes the SR or SX in 5x108 sized say 18x8 with an offset in the mid 40s ( say 42-47) they'll fit just fine. From what I could quickly find some of the 19s offered on the xe in Europe are 19x8 with a 42 offset. So 18x8 with an offset of 42 should fit like factory.

As far as I know, 3.0 XE on 225/45/R18 s has an offset of 46.

Because XE is a new model, Tirerack and many other vendors do not have specific options for it, however if you know the tire bolt pattern, dimensions and offset you can manually search for rims.

These are the two options I'm considering, which should fit per your description. For some reason BBS is telling me that the SXs are 'approved' for the non-V6 models due to the brakes. They couldn't confirm whether they'd tried fitting the 18" wheels and had a problem or are just being conservative. I'm pretty tempted to order the 18" wheels and risk the 20% restocking fee if they don't fit.

Walsha, I have a 3.5 XER sport that came with the 19" venoms. I would love to have the 20" propellers. The Jaguar dealers here are asking for $1000 for the OEM propellers which is crazy. I have been to a number of wheel dealers here in Los Angeles looking for 19" wheels that woul work with the tires on the car now. Not many options. No one seems to know what wheels would fit on the car.

Coventry Wheels specialize in wheels made specifically for Jags so they may have some of interest.

Over on the XF forum a number of us have gone with Rohana, Lexani, Niche and Savini. Try going direct to a manufacturer and explain what you're trying to do and the level of interest. They may let you have someone nearby stop over with an XE and do a test for, then they can guarantee it fits that model. Rohana seemed up for that.

Be wary if you have large wheels (like 20s) with big brakes and calipers. On the 5L supercharged older XF modes the brakes are so big that you can't change down to 19 or 18 inch wheels at all

I called Coventry when I first got my car with no luck. I will try the brands you mentioned.

I also live Near Los Angeles and did some research for rims but mostly wanted the 20" propeller rims which I ended up getting in the end despite the $1,000 Price tag each rim and still had to buy new tires. Happy with the over all look tho!

Jag has so many nice wheel patterns as it is; I'd just like to buy a set from an XF, F Type, etc... used... Still no dice on which ones would work.

Ended up going with the 18" SX to put the 20" propellers away for the winter. No problems at all with the 18's.

Since this is a wheel discussion, and I don't want to start a new thread, can anyone help with finding a TPMS that will work with the XE? (Canada/USA)

You might want to try VDO TPMS vendors, although the model may be too new to be supported.

When I got my winter rims I called the Jaguar dealer parts by me for the TPMS. The parts guy didn't know which ones to sell me. He took down my # and said he had to call and find out. i never heard back from him plus I think he quoted me about $140 each. He wasn't sure if it used the 433 or 333 MHz transmitter. So I saw these on ebay for a 2016 XE :
2016 TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors Jaguar XE | eBay
I contacted the seller and was assured that our cars used the 333 MHz and they would work on the 2017. So $172 later, I gave them to my tire guy who put them in but he said the car was too new so he wouldn't be able to program them. Turns out that after a few miles the car learned the new sensors and apparently did not need any programming.

I posted all my results from tires and wheels both 20 and 19 in other posts and with great results. Also, someone on here post a sexy complete set of dirt cheap wheels and tires they got package from Costco. Im trying to find that post and I think they were dark colored Velox wheels maybe but looked good. I am selling my Winter 19" OEM Jag wheels and tires in another post cheaper than you can get knock offs if you are interested.

I have a set of 4 - 18" x 8" Velox rims and Michelin PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ 225/45ZR18 tires complete with hub spacers chrome lug nuts and new TPMS installed balanced and filled with nitrogen for sale. They have less than 2000 miles on them. Rims are perfect, no scratches or swirl marks. I had gotten them as a winter set because my car came with the 20" and summer tires. Originally I was going to order my car with the 19" Black Venom"s but this one was available and they gave me a great deal. That being said when BigCat09 put his up for sale I couldn't resist so I bought them. Super nice guy by the way, a real pleasure to deal with. I'm asking $1000
