Build date set for my new XE 3.0 R-Sport, Signed up for Miami XE Tour
Finally got the news from my dealer that my XE R- sport order is being sent to Jaguar with a build date of 4/1/16, delivery date of 5/20/16, handover date 5/25/16. One step closer to bliss.
In the meantime, I signed up for the Jaguar XE art of performance tour when it hits Miami,
3/3 -6, I will be there early Thursday, 3/3. The only thing that sucks is I have a 10 hour commute to get to Miami. I put my name in the Hat for the extended test drive, but then I would have a 20 hour commute to get that car back to Miami
At least 10 of those hours would be in the XE though.
Like waiting for Christmas.

My options are: Dark Sapphire Blue(550$), 35t, 3.0 liter V6 340hp RWD, XE R-Sport, which has many goods. Highlights: 380 watt Meridian sound system, rearview camera, power folding mirrors, nav, Adaptive Xenon headlamps. The only option I added were the 19' Venom 5 twin spoke black finish wheels(500$). Price with destination 51,245$ +ttt. I feel like the dark sapphire blue is almost like two colors in one. At night and in the shade it looks black, and in good light / sunlight it's a gorgeous deep midnight metallic blue.
That price is at my limit, I would have liked to have , but too much money: comfort and convenience package $2,000, adaptive cruise control which is part of the driver assistance package at $3,100, 825W Meridian sound system was part of the technology package of $2,600, and adaptive dynamics at $1,000. . That would be 60k

Looks sharp!! I'm a sucker for blue too, and Dark Sapphire is really pretty. On a related note I noticed that with the 19" wheels the tires are staggered but if you go with the 20" they're all the same size.
