Chevy SS vs XE
#2
>How does the Chevy SS compare to the XE?
Do you mean the one based on the Holden Commodore from Oz?
I think you're more likely to hear from somebody from down there.
There are so few SSs in the US that I doubt you'll ever find anyone who is likely to be familiar with both an SS and an XE.

I'm from Oz. The SS (commodore) has just ceased production here and strangely enough all of the bogans (rednecks) who drive them are passionate for the Kia Stinger which is just being released.
For a big car, the SS handles really well - but it feels like a truck compared to the XE in the steering department. But then I think you cant get better than the XE in steering, so the SS is still pretty good. They sound pretty good, too.
Here is a recent comparison 2018 Kia Stinger 330Si v Holden Commodore SS-V Redline comparison

LOL the bogans here take their holden badges off and put Chevy ones on.
Here is a review by one of the target market for these cars
Actually they are good cars, we get a bit tired of them because they are taxis (6 cyl) and cop cars here and essentially were the family truckster until SUVs started to dominate the market.
