Default Coilovers / Lowering Springs for XE

Would like to lower the suspension approximately 1.5" and there doesn't seem to be many options out there other than D2 Air Struts which I'm not entirely sure about D2's reputation as I've never used any of their products before. Anyone know of anything else out there or anything in development?

Ohlin's must have something. If not listed; call them.

Arden has a set of sport springs that will get you most of that drop, progressive coils.
Fahrwerk - Jaguar XE ab 2015 - Jaguar XE - Jaguar

Arden is well respected in the marketplace.

I tried to contact Arden with no luck as due tot a website glitch they have but it doesn't say if it is for the RWD or AWD as the AWD sits much higher i the front. And does it say the drop amount?

I just want to drop my AWD front to match the rear and I will be very happy but this seems to be difficult to locate the springs.

I am sure all you AWD guys hate the stance , right? It drives me nuts!

Yes, you are right. My car looks like it has 300lbs in its trunk all the time

I do understand why Jaguar did it though. Additional driveshaft and an extra differential had to go somewhere with enough clearance for your typical garage entries so they went the easier route and just raised the whole car up.

I would be careful just replacing springs and hoping for same or better level of handling. Suspensions pieces really need some engineering and testing. Would hate to see your car handle worse all to give it a look.

I agree but a small drop and the dynamic suspension should be able to compensate I would think since I have this option?

I like how the rear sits so if I can match the front I would be happy.

I thought the front was also higher for US pedestrian crash standards as well as the front plate min height req, both are DOT related here in the US. Porsche had a similar thing with 911's years back and we all bought ROW (Rest Of World) springs for the front to cure the stance issues.

Side Note, I have noticed at high rates of speed o the highway where there are medium bends in the highway or when switching lanes my car feels very sloppy and like it is going to not end well. So I turned off Dynamic Steering and it seems to have a better feel so far, maybe its just the car compensating for a possible driver error but I like a more natural feel so I turned the steering to off.
