Where the plastic pipe is pushed into the WP SharkBite style. Going to try the Euro AMP metal connector kit with metal elbow, new O ring gasket and new plastic keeper. Anyone have good luck with this? I know Dealer would be like "new WP and thermostat".

The Euro AMP kit is a solid upgrade—many have had good results with better durability. Just make sure the O-ring seats properly to avoid leaks!
