Dipped beam fault/headlight completely inop
I tried searching the forum, but I couldn’t find specifically the problem I’m having here, so apologies if this has already been asked.
a few days ago, my ac compressor went out. Luckily summer is ending so I’m not too concerned about cold ac, but it’s still something I want to get repaired. While looking under the hood to verify that the compressor wasn’t working, I was checking the rest of the bay, but not doing anything major. Later on that evening, I go to drive (night time by now), and I received a dipped beam failure warning. I got out to check and saw the entire right headlamp totally off: led light, low lamp, high beam, turn signal, everything was off. 2017 XE prestige 35t. I think I checked all the fuses I could, but I don’t want to start pulling more stuff and cause any more issues. Has anyone com across this? The headlight has given zero indications of impending failure.

From the manual I found....
Fuse(s) blown
Leveling motor/linkage fault
Headlamp leveling circuit fault
Air suspension system fault
Check the fuse(s) condition. Check the headlamp leveling
motor and linkage condition. Check the headlamp leveling
circuit. Refer to the electrical guides. Check for DTCs
indicating headlamp leveling circuit and air suspension
Best of luck!
