I was invited to the Dallas event, but too far for me. Hopefully I can catch it in Miami when Jaguar releases the date. PCbrew, I'll be interested in your impressions based on your daily driver. Not sure how much seat time you will get in the XE though.

The event is just east of downtown (in Deep Ellum), so I expect to only get some relatively slow city driving time. I do plan to drive the same route afterward in by DD as a comparison and will certainly report on my impressions of the 2 cars.

 

I was there yesterday. It is about a 5.5mile trip on streets and then two laps around the autocross track. You get a different car for the track time. The street drive is to/from Deep Ellum to Fair Park.
