The F type forum has examples or discussions regarding the v6 and tuning.
At this point it would appear a company called Velocity' can tune the base 340 h.p.to the higher spec, something like 380

Yes, Velocity is a well-respected company, and they can flash the OEM V6S tune (380HP) on the 340 V6, which is the XE-R engine. I believe the price now is $1K or under.

Does flashing cause any warranty problems? Also: Does it mess with adaptive dynamics and gearbox mapping? Thanks for any info.

Personally, I would assume my warranty is toast for any parts the tune could affect.
The ECU can be 'read' by Jaguar, for instance, if you blow the engine, even if you remove the tune... this according to the master mechanic at my dealer and he would know, as he has friends that have done tunes and he has been involved.

Having said that, he showed me a 5.0 litre engine block a year ago with a hole in it... the engine threw a rod... Jaguar investigated the file and found the engine had been over-revved by at least 1,000 rpm, and worst of all this was with a down shift.. they decided to fix it for the owner anyway as he was a repeat customer.
Lawrence.
