Car and driver reported some not so good vibration with the S90. They strongly recommended a good test drive before signing the dotted line.

I read somewhere the XE may get a manual with the new 2.0 ingenium gas engine.

I have been driving Audi and Mercedes for last 15 years. Decided to try the XE R Sport and am very please 6,000 miles and no issues yet. I think Jag is making good cars now. I wondered the same thing.

Interesting. My only reference on the S90 is in their showroom while we go our S60's oil changed. Interior quality is stunning. Nicer than the XJ perhaps in terms of hides and materials. Tough sell at 65K with turbo 4 IMO. Buyers want 2 more + cylinders at that price point. I never felt that our S60 was "slow" FWIW.

I've owned about a dozen Infiniti's over the last 12 years and I've liked most of them and loved a few. The XE is going up against the Q50 not the Q60. The Q50 Redsport is comparable to the top end XE and will price out with 5k of each other. The Q60 is a coup and will be a convertible eventually putting in another class. I have a Q50 Hybrid S now and it has more power than the XE. The drive experience is slightly better in the XE on the two test drives I've done. I'm torn when it's time for my Q to get returned as to what I'll do. I like the XE a lot but the electronics need to prove reliable over time. The Nav system in Jags is poor. If they up that part of their game over the next 2 years I'll make the leap to the XE. In the meantime the F-Pace is beckoning to replace my wife's QX60 next year!
