I was trying to setup the InControl Remote for the Jag I just got. Long story short, I have to have the software updated at a retailer in order to have this feature. The closest Jag dealer is about 2 1/2 hours in any direction. Wasn't able to get in touch with the service department for any of the locations to get a quote, as the car is out of the manufacture warranty. Does anyone have any experience with this type of cost/update? I would rather not waste the time driving down there or spending the money on the update if it's not gonna be worth it/too expensive.

 

I never did update on my XF because I am not a fun of electronics. Just a radio and working A/C is fine with me.

On the top right hand side of your screen Threads: Search Threads type " InControl Remote update" and it will search all the inquiries/discussions about InControl Remote updates. Good luck
