Hi
I have a 2017 XE R Sports Jaguar. All of a sudden my interior lights will not come on they do if I manually activate them ie Auto on the Light Column plus pressing the Dome light. I have tried pressing the Dome Light for 2 seconds and 4 seconds does not help.
I do have a Battery Low Indication before I start the engine for the last few weeks however the engine always starts.
Would it be that my battery low light is ON before starting is not allowing the interior lights to come on when I get into the car or stopping the engine at night the interior lights do not come on..

Could definitely be the battery. Check first that it is not in stealth mode in the menu system.

 

ok I will look for stealth mode never seen this in the XE R Sports will check tomorrow thankyou

 

It will be in the infotainment menu system / settings.

No I did not thanks for asking tried so frustrating I am wondering if it’s the low battery light. I rang Jaguar cannot get car there till 2nd August now the state premier is talking about a lock down till October now truly over it all. I have a brand new motorbike sitting in a mates rumpus room in Port Macquarie so due to lock down 3 months without getting that. Thanks to COVID lost my career had the best job ever. So it’s a waiting game if I get caught going there $1,000 fine a free world hey.

 

From day one this whole COVID thing has been one cockup after another. Unbelievable.

 

Yes do not get me started what part of the world are you in I am just lucky financial I got my act together so in lockdown doing lots of trading painting etc etc wife happy to have me home these days as I have spent most of my working career away.......lol
