iPod stopped working in car

iPod stopped working in car

I have an iPod connected to the USB port in the console. It has been working fine for a year. Now the music shows on the car screen but no sound comes out? Any suggestions?

This may be overly obvious, but have you tried replacing the USB cable?

Does the iPod work properly with earbuds?
