Default Overheating due to a small thermostat leak in the stat housing

So like I posted before had a small leak in my thermostat housing bought new installed performed a vacuum added the correct coolant now I drive about 30 miles or so my AC is not cold my temp gauge shoots up to hot for a split second then down to normal then back up (actual is running hot) I started it up this morning let it idle for 45 minutes or so checked it every now and then noticed temp rising but my coolant fans never once kicked on.

im just frustrated that all this is over a small dang leak anyone have any ideas or help please
