Default Passport to Service question

Purchased a 2017 a few months back in Florida and brought it up North. Dealer told me about this service. It seems to be a free oil change and pollen filter deal every year.

I guess the question is do you end up with unnecessary additional costs.

We've had a few similar questions across the forums from US members and it appears there isn't a definite answer to the free or chargeable question.

The maintenance items required in the scheduled services aren't in doubt - it's which if any of these are free of charge. This depends on what was included in the original purchase agreement. Some Jaguar Dealers included extended free servicing and others have offered specific items such as the ones you mention.

Two factors here. First, the small print in your original deal detailing exactly what additions are included and second, if these are transferable to another Dealer.

With my XE, all of the scheduled Jaguar services are free; which have been annual.

We are leasing. If I owned it, I would do more service than they offer, but that would be on my own coin.

They aren't "free," they are included in the cost of your lease.

EDIT: yes I realise this post is a bit pedantic
