Spy Shots: Jaguar XE spied in the cold
Jaguar's baby sedan called XE has been spied on a frozen lake in northern Sweden, wearing its production body. Up until now spy-photos showed us body mules looking like the XF but today we get the chance to see Jaguar's entry-level sedan fitted with the production body. Internally known as the X760, the new model will ride on the firm's iQ[Al] platform and will come with shorter front and rear overhangs along with a more compact body to go up against the BMW 3-series, Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-class and other similar models in this segment.
The spiritual successor of the X-Type will receive a generous engine family that will include a high-output unit enabling the model to reach a maximum speed of 300 km/h. The British marque is also allegedly planning a frugal variant that will have less than 100 g/km of CO2 emissions. The latest report refers to a summer reveal of the XE while deliveries are expected to commence at the beginning of 2015.

I see that the forum banner is placed over the disguised bits at the back end. Is that under an arrangement with Jag for the use of the pics? Nothing wrong with that at all, if it was, it successfully prevented me from working out how the back end will really look.
I like the wide flat look of this car.
