Can anyone tell me where the Transmission Control Module is located on a 2017 XE 2.0L Diesel Ingenium? 8 speed auto box.

I've tried searching on Topix, I can find a connector which seems to be associated, seems to be the main connector to the transmission itself. I'm not sure if the TCM is internal to the transmission or external? I can't find anything which definitively specifies its location?

I've read documents which have suggested the TCM is part of the gear selector module itself where you would select P/R/N/D/M ?
